No not been able to resolve it yet and the clients are now on holiday for a week, so will have to start again next week!

Hello,

I am having similar problems where it is calculating VAT based on all my invoices since I set up the Quickfile account. What do I need to do to those invoices so that it is only doing it for the last 3 months?

Hi @NickD

If you go to Reports >> VAT Returns and then VAT Settings, you can set a start date. This acts like a cut off, so anything prior to that date won’t be included.

As always however, just download your calculations just to be sure everything that needs to be included, is.

There are a few different features with Affinity, but white label is one of them.

It’s also for those managing multiple accounts (so you have one login for multiple accounts).

I have only one Account. If i didnt use affinity then what happen next?

You can use the account on it’s own without Affinity. Firstly, ensure that there’s another login associated with it (not an Affinity one). If that’s the case and the Affinity account is up to date, it can just be disconnected and you’d access it directly.

If the account is graded as L (1,000 + nominal ledger entries in a rolling 12 month period), the account would required a Power User Subscription, which is currently £45 + VAT per year.

The last update was received from Lloyds yesterday at 2:15pm:

The fix has successfully completed testing in SIT and is in the process of being deployed to our LUAT environment. Once confirmed successful this will be planned for deployment to Production in our next release, currently aiming for 24th/25th June

There is also a Lloyds feed available through Yodlee which would be included in your bank feed subscription. If that doesn’t work please let us know and we will open up a private discussion to get some more information on your account.

I can see all purchases on the VAT report, but no sales have been shown even though they have been entered. Any clues?

Hi I have successfully completed and sent and have received a receipt from HMRC my first VAT return using QuickFile for MTD. So all good there! Thanks.!

EC sales List is another story. On the above Return there was ES sales made and on the bottom of the completed VAT return there was a button for EC Sales list in green at the bottom . I clicked on that and then a new screen opened up on QuickFile Value Added Tax EC Sales List again with a button in green saying SUBMIT clicked that and it come s back with a pink Failed notice stating as follows;- EC Sales submission to HMRC failed.
By Gateway : Authentication Failure. The supplied user credentials failed validation for the requested service.

So is this something not correct with the system or is it me? I have checked into the old HMRC online system and I can still send the EC sales list via that if that is correct or do we have to go through MTD/Quickfile system? Help please

Hi @Stridey

ECSL is still submitted using the older system rather than MTD.

If you go to the VAT settings (Reports >> VAT Returns >> VAT Settings), you should see an option to enable this, and enter your HMRC credentials for this service.

Hi Thanks. So you say ECSL is still submitted using the older system online via HMRC using Government Gateway user ID number. That is how I have had to do this for the ECSL in question.

However I have tried the QUOTE If you go to the VAT settings ( Reports >> VAT Returns >> VAT Settings ), you should see an option to enable this, and enter your HMRC credentials for this service. UNQOTE and it will not recognise my details as on QuickFile the Government Gateway ID isn’t accepted I believe or something else on the QuickFile data required for settings for ECSL?

Thinking about it I have never had success submitting ECSL via the QuickFile system.

What am I doing wrong? I don’t have a user name?
Thanks for any help you can give as I would submit ECSL via quickfie as it will be easier as the data is already entered on the form for submission that way.
