Just to expand on the above, you can now set the email from name even if you aren't using your own custom SMTP.
All users can now set the from name in Account Settings >> Routine Emails.
When we added this feature we defaulted the display name with the company name for all existing accounts. The name set here will appear on your clients email software as the sender.
